Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Serendi Systems LTD ("us", "we", or "our") operates the www.pen-to-print.com website and the Pen to Print mobile application and the Pen to Print - Handwriting OCR API (together, the "Service"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information when you use our Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required, we rely on your consent before enabling non-essential analytics and measurement technologies. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Information Collection And Use While using our Service
Our Service converts handwriting into digital text. Files you upload for conversion are encrypted in transit and deleted automatically from our servers as soon as the conversion is complete. We do not store your scans or the text we produce from them, we do not access them, and we do not use them to train or improve our handwriting recognition or any other AI model. What you convert stays yours.
A single exception applies where you choose to save a template in our Form Data Extraction tool. In that case we keep a copy of the form image the template was built from, stored with your account, so that you can re-use or edit the template later. The saved template appears only in your own account. We do not use it for any other purpose, and it is never used to train any model. Deleting the template deletes the image and the template built from it, and deleting your account deletes all of them.
You remain responsible for the content you upload, including having the right to upload it.
To run the Service we do collect a limited amount of information about your account: the email address you register with, your subscription and billing status, and a record of your activity. We also receive the technical Log Data described below. This information is linked to your account.
We use this account information to operate and improve the Service, to provide customer support, to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, to assess refund requests, and to establish or defend claims. We do not use or share it for any purpose other than those described above.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis for processing your personal information, we rely on the following:
Performance of a contract — to create and run your account, provide the Service, take payment for your subscription, and assess refund requests.
Our legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, understand and improve how the Service works, provide customer support, and establish or defend legal claims.
Your consent — for analytics and measurement cookies, and for marketing messages. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Compliance with a legal obligation — where we are required to keep records or disclose information by law.
Log Data
We may also receive information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Log Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics. With your consent, we may also use third party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or similar measurement technologies to analyze site usage, understand user journeys, and measure the effectiveness of our promotions. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. We will not use or share this information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Cookies or Data Files
Cookies or data files are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies or data files are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use necessary cookies for the ongoing, proper operation of the Service, including security, basic functionality, and remembering essential settings. With your consent, we also use analytics and measurement cookies to analyze site usage, understand user journeys, and measure the effectiveness of our promotions. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you decline or dismiss non-essential cookies, necessary cookies may still be used to operate the Service, but analytics and measurement cookies will not be enabled unless you later provide consent. Some of the cookies or data files expire when you close the browser, while others are saved on your computer's hard disk or device memory.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your scanned handwritings only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Purchases made through our Website are processed by a merchant of record — either Paddle.com Market Ltd or PayPro Global — identified at checkout and on your invoice. That merchant acts as an independent controller of the data it collects. We share with it the information needed to complete and support your purchase, such as your name, email address, billing country and subscription details. Payment details are handled by the merchant directly — we never receive or store your card number. Each merchant's handling of your personal data is governed by its own notice: Paddle's privacy notice and PayPro Global's privacy policy. Purchases made through our mobile applications are processed by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.
Compliance With Laws
We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and in order to maintain the confidentiality of the information provided by you when using the Service, we use advanced data encryption technologies. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Therefore, we do not guarantee that our Service will be completely immune to unauthorized access to the information on the Services.
Data Retention
Your scans and the text we produce from them are deleted from our servers automatically as soon as the conversion is complete. We do not retain them.
Other information — your account details and the record of your activity — is kept for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including running your account, handling support and refund requests, and identifying repeated misuse. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time, as described under Right to Review Information below.
Right to Review Information
You are allowed to review your personal information stored in our database (if any). If you find that information to be incorrect, incomplete or not up-to-date, you may approach us and request that the information be corrected or deleted within 30 days. In such a case, we will delete any personal information linked to you. We will continue to legally store information required for the purpose of managing our business, including the documentation of commercial and other activities you performed in the Services, but this information will no longer be used for contacting you.
International Transfer
Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to our servers around the world (most likely in Israel or in the USA) and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Advertising Measurement
With your consent, we may use third party advertising and measurement technologies, including Google Ads conversion and related measurement services, to understand how users find our Service and to measure the effectiveness of our promotions. Our current configuration is intended for measurement rather than personalized advertising. These third party services may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies, and not this Company's Privacy Policy. If you wish to review the privacy policies of these third party providers, you can do so through their websites or applications.
Links To Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
